Magic The Gathering
The trading card game (TCG) Magic: the Gathering has been around since 1993. It was one of many that emerged in a market flooded with different variations on the genre, each trying to find an angle to distinguish themselves from other games. Some used humor while others were dark or gritty; some had exceptionally complex mechanics while others were simplistic and accessible.
